Meet the BRIQ family - Bart

Meet our leisure consultant Bart. If you get a call from one of us, you probably have been talking to Bart. He is the first in this series, in which we'll introduce our BRIQ family to you.

What's your job at BRIQ Bookings?

I am the leisure consultant at BRIQ. I am responsible for consulting with entrepreneurs about BRIQ. When a potential client is interested in our tool and service, I'll explain to them more about the upcoming process and results when he decides to sign with BRIQ.

What's a typical day for you at the BRIQ HQ?

Coffee first, I need to warm up my voice. You want to hear a friendly voice over the phone, not Gollem calling from Middle Earth. After some phone calls, I head out of the office to meet our clients. Here, I'll have an extra shot of caffeine. Once back in the car, I'm again attached to my phone.  At the office, I, most likely, will have a meeting with the sales/marketing team. With coffee of course (note: single short espresso). Together we'll discuss new strategies. Currently, I am trying to figure out how I can digitize some of our processes. I'll finish my day with another coffee, for the road. ;-)

What do you like most about working here?

When a client is having major success using BRIQ. The cool part is when an existing client of ours is having actual results. The first things we notice is their number of bookings skyrocketing. That's awesome!

Sounds like a challenge?

Yes, definitely! I've worked in the hospitality industry before. Those products and services are more tangible. Explaining technical products and services definitely has been a challenge.  Every day I'm learning and I try to improve my skills based on feedback I get from our clients.  

What are you most proud of?

I'm most proud of signing: Escape Factory, Immersive and Adventure City! It was pretty exciting to leap to the tech industry. I was working in hospitality before. Having these successes is definitely a confidence boost. I'm looking forward to the next 6 months with BRIQ.

About those six months, is there a bright future ahead?

I sure hope so! I'm looking forward to more happy customers! I hope to sign international clients with BRIQ too. I can't wait to sink my teeth in this project. In the hospitality industry, I had many international clients. However, clients in the tech industry require a different approach. Also, you might see me in some marketing projects soon!
