What is e-commerce and the benefits to your leisure company

E-commerce is often seen from a one-sided perspective: selling goods online. But is that all? Partly yes, but it is about much more. Not only products are sold but also services. It is also true that trading does not only between companies and consumers (B2C). There are also other forms, such as: Consumer to consumer (C2C) and Business to Business (B2B). The latter is what we are doing as BRIQ Bookings to our clients, for example.

Own sales channel

An effective but simple way to apply e-commerce to your company is by opening your own sales channel, through a webshop. This is a fourth variant of e-commerce: Direct to Consumer (D2C). With your own sales channel you limit outside influences and you keep control of your company.
