Briq release updates

Agile development means faster and frequent releases. With more features being released, more bugs being fixed, and more improvements and changes happening in general, we like to keep our customers in the loop with our new releases and overall progress.

In November and December, our team finished our new integration with Smartwaiver to enable your customers to sign their waiver online. In addition, we launched a brand new booking details page, which has an improved performance and interface. All other new features & changes add to being more user-friendly, and the webshop providing a better booking experience.

In September and October, our team worked on bigger features and smaller changes. One of the new key features is allowing bigger groups to book directly online, by automatically scheduling the group in multiple timeslots. In addition, it is now possible to visualise a discount for your up- and cross-sells, by displaying a crossed-out price. All remaining released changes add to a seamless booking experience to optimise the conversion rate.

In July and August, we released a variety of new features and changes. First of all, we added Apple Pay as a payment method for Stripe users. In addition, we carried out a couple of A/B tests, which resulted in an enhanced checkbox on Extra page. We also removed the standard voucher field on the webshop's checkout page when there is no voucher integration active, added an automatic deal program duration calculation, and added an extra configuration option for the Resource's reset times. The edit Resource, Product & Deal pages also (slightly) changed, making it easier to configure new items.

In June, we released Part 2 of our Multi-language feature, making it now possible to display multiple languages in the webshop. We also introduced a new pricing structure: the price per Resource. This will result in showing a "from" price in the webshop, based on the capacity of the Resource. We also released the feature of Parallel Scheduling, allowing you to schedule a product in parallel to other scheduled products, such as a Party Room or a table in your restaurant. In addition, it is now also possible to mark a Resource as Exclusive, in addition to this setting on Product level.

In May, we released our Resource Groups feature, which enables you to create resources with a parent-child structure, e.g. for Bowling lanes or Escape Rooms. In addition, we improved the scheduling process for admin and concept bookings, which makes it much easier for our users to schedule these type of bookings. In April, we published many Video Tutorials that help our customers get familiar with, freshen up their knowledge, or use to train new employees with. In addition, we have added a setting for a product duration per participant, in order to allow for an activity duration based on the amount of participants, such as Bowling per Game. Besides that, we have added an integration with Webhooks by Zapier that allows you to send information from Briq to any application of your choice via Zapier.
Sprint 58

In Sprint 58, we made sure to improve certain key features that address better set-up and navigation in Briq’s e-commerce manager. We have worked on easy sub-resource creation, unifying ‘create/edit deal’ screens, made rejected bookings available for support and we’ve enhanced the screen view regarding the schedule. Also, we have implemented the sorting option and sub-titles on the upsell and the get-times page to give more context to consumers.

The Innomeer integration has been released! We will be starting with the configurations soon. In terms of general integrations, customers can request the integrations that they want to see in their integration market place; basically, they get what's relevant for them!

We are proud to announce Multi Language is here! From now on, your Briq Shop is able to support multiple languages. Today, Part I ( is released. Part II (webshop) will be released soon. In addition to the segments configuration on Resource level, customers can now also configure the available segments on Product level.

This is what's new in these 2 sprints: First, digital wallets (part 1), for Stripe users. From now on, you are able to add ‘Google Pay’ as a payment option in the checkout for customers. Then we have 'Inactive user lock.' When is not in use for a while, we will automatically lock your screen for safety reasons. You can easily unlock it by entering your password and you will see your last screen again.

In Sprint 49, we introduced ‘Minimum time to book in advance.’ We have improved on Price Structure at both Product and Deal level. Also, you when saving a booking, you will receive a warning displayed, to make sure that what you’re saving makes sense. Besides that, we have improved the funnel view on mobile and fixed a bug on English language date pickers for Dutch customers. Finally, webhooks, multi-language and digital wallets are coming up on our next sprint release. Next sprint release date is January 5, 2021!

In Sprint 48 we released Visitor Segments (part II) 🎉 Visitor Segments are used to differentiate your visitors among groups; to make sure your visitors are correctly scheduled in your activities. We have also added German, Spanish and French added to the funnel, made changes on Select Persons input, changes in price structure, and now we have a single navigation bar that allows users to navigate more easily through the application.

In Sprint 47 we are introducing a refreshed Customer Support portal! In the portal you will find all our support articles and information, and you’ll be able to manage your tickets with our Support team. We have also improved with subtle changes, all explained in the release notes. More good news! We have introduced Sofort as a new payment method. This will be most relevant to our Dutch merchants located close to the German border.

We have introduced the Sales Dashboard! A huge step for Admin users to access your most important data all in one place. Also, we have a new configuration for Deal availability based on specific times, and start-day time-setting. All this to simplify your processes and to help you see where can you improve, to grow substantially.

On this sprint we released 'field validation' in the funnel and enhanced security in our system by running extra tests. Also, we touch on what's coming up in next sprints: New payment methods, E-commerce Dashboard, Deal availability based on specific times, and added languages to the funnel.
